Dynamic Government Performance Measurement Online
Performance measurement is recognized as a valuable tool for municipal leaders to evaluate the efficiency and cost of services that their administration and staff
provides for residents. One of the challenges in accurately measuring the efficiency and cost in the performance of specific departments is having a reliable set of benchmarking data and the proper tools to analyze and utilize the results.
Dynamic Government Performance Measurement is the online application of a program originally created by Northwest Municipal Conference administrative professionals. Developed to provide subscribers with comparative performance data from municipalities within a specific geographic region, the Citytech USA team has expanded the program to make this a vital tool for local government administrators. Subscribers benefit by using the program to identify areas of service and fiscal excellence as well as target areas of needed improvement.
Dynamic Government Performance Measurement incorporates a number of features that make it an indispensable tool for local government administrators, including the following:
- Modular system allows independent evaluation of departments
- Online comparison with similar local governments
- Automatic calculation of efficiency measures
- Reversed efficiency measurement calculation to see impact of potential changes
- Tracking of annual trend data
- Online report generation
