Local Government Training Program
The Northwest Municipal Conference conducts regular training seminars and workshops on a wide variety of topics geared towards local government staff and elected officials. The goal of the training program is to increase the in-house skills and knowledge of local government staff and officials so that they can serve their communities in the most efficient manner. Training is provided in conjunction with Municipal Training Services, Inc. Training sessions are open to staff from both member and non-member communities.
The Northwest Municipal Conference is pleased to announce that the schedule for the Fall 2009 training workshops has been finalized. The first workshop, Communication Excellence, will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
We have posted the Training Catalog with detailed descriptions of each workshop as well as registration information. Please encourage all of your municipal employees to attend these workshops as they have been designed to meet the unique training needs of municipal employees.
